Mac Mor Reveals the "New Trench"
for Spring 2008 at the New York Collective
Toronto - July 3, 2007 - Mac Mor of Canada has reinvented the perennially classic trench coat for Spring 2008. Refreshed like a spring rain shower, Mac Mor has redesigned and re-engineered the 'new' trench as a key fashion item for men.
"Our new trench series is all about creating a twist on classic trench coat details. We have revisited elements like epaulettes and gun patches and have updated collars and shoulders," says Mac Mor design directory, Sheldon Goldstein. "The new trench is shorter and styled to be worn as a jacket alternative."
Also new is Mac Mor's launch of an exclusive ULTRAMATTE fabric in their Spring 2008 collection of contemporary rainwear in a subtle earth tone palette.
Mac Mor's Spring 2008 collection also includes the relaxed luxury of a washed linen blazer, casual short jackets, updated windbreakers and bombers with a focus on noticeable new details. Fresh shirt striped linings, patch or pleated pockets and hardware accents like contrast zippers, pulls, snaps and grommets all add newness.
Mac Mor will launch their new trench coat series along with their full Spring 2008 collection of rainwear, jackets and outerwear to the trade at the upcoming New York Menswear Collective, Booth 3143, July 23-25 at Pier 94 in New York.
